SnowKite Pivot System
What’s the Pivot System?
The Pivot System installs on a conventional snowboard or snowkite board. All you have to do is install your conventional bindings onto our pivot plates for the optimal posture experience.
The big advantage of the Pivot System is that it spreads effort across more muscles than conventional binding systems do.
More muscles working slows the onset of fatigue during punishing workouts and also decreases knee pain.
All of our R&D efforts for the Snowkite Pivot System stemmed from our awareness of just how important optimal posture is for achieving maximum power transfer.
How the Pivot System Works
With the Pivot System, you can adjust the tension required to pivot your bindings into the desired position at any time. A couple of cranks is all it takes to increase or decrease pivot resistance based on snow conditions. In powder, there’s no friction (it will feel like kitesurfing on water). And as the surface becomes firmer, you simply add resistance so you always have full control of your foot movements.

Applications
Whether it’s for long days of freeriding or serious competitions like Coupe du Québec, the U.S. Open Snowkite Masters in Skyline, Utah, or the Redbull Ragnarock in Norway, the Pivot System will give you a new-found sense of confidence and a huge advantage over your competitors as you race for a spot on the podium.
After six seasons of field testing in all conditions and on all surfaces imaginable, we are proud of the results achieved by our rider, William Acosta.
As Coupe du Québec snowkite champion in the men’s snowboard category, Will has showcased the Snowkite Pivot System’s real potential—and left his competitors in the (snow)dust!
